Real Estate Information... The Town of Bluffton has quite a diverse housing stock. Historic Bluffton, with its gridded street design, reflects a vested population in which family members have resided for generations in addition to those who have settled to capture the essence of a small town. Over 300 houses ranging from manufactured homes to antebellum homes are assorted throughout the street neighborhoods of the Old Town. This diversity and generous tree cover throughout this area make living in Old Town Bluffton very desirable.
The planned unit developments of the newly annexed parts of Bluffton are also making a noticeable impression. This fresh housing stock varies tremendously, ranging from entry-level, affordable units beginning at $99,000 to more expensive homes beginning at $300,000. Options in these communities include townhouses, single-family homes, custom-built homes, patio homes, condominiums, golf-course access and membership, spacious lots, and community center amenities.
Seniors... Retired persons move to the Lowcountry for numerous reasons. In addition to a comfortable temperate climate and great waterfront proximity, they are pleasantly surprised to find a plethora of activities and organizations in which they can take part.
