As an avid golfer, I can assure you that golf in the Hilton Head area is unsurpassed
anywhere. The island's courses bear the stamp of such designers as Pete Dye,
Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Fazio, Greg Norman, Robert Trent Jones Sr.,
Arthur Hills, George Fazio, Rees Jones, Fuzzy Zoeller, Robert Cupp, Ben Crenshaw,
William Bryd, Gary Player, and many more. Hilton Head features four courses
that have been in either Golf Magazine or Golf Digest's top 100 in the last
few years including famed Harbor Town Golf Links - home of the World Com Classic,
Long Cove Club and the two courses at Colleton River.
